Biography

2015-16 - Played in all 10 tournaments for the Lions as a sophomore...in 25 rounds Neil averaged a score of 77.7...recorded his best rounds, 72, in the opening round of the MSSU Men's Fall Invitational (Sept. 14-15) and the final round of the SBU Invitational (April 11-12)...Neil's best final score was 4-over 148 at the David Falconer Classic (Mar. 7-8) hosted by Arkansas Tech University...best finish came at the Texoma Championships where he shared 12th place with a 12-over 228.

2014-15 - Played in five events for the Lions as a freshman...best finish was tied for 27th at the David Falconer Classic hosted by Arkansas Tech with a 5-over 149 (77-72)...shot a season low 72 in the final round of the David Falconer Classic on March 10...finished the season with a scoring average of 79.5 (+8) in 12 rounds of play.

Prior to Southern - Three year letter winner at Springdale Har-Ber HS...number one golfer as a senior while finishing fourth at the 7A State Tournament...helped lead the Wildcats to a third place finish at the 7A State Tournament, the highest finish in school history...was a 2013 All-Conference and All-State selection.

Personal - A Business Mangement major at Southern...son of Tony and Debra Neil...youngest of four, Matt, Casey and Marty.
