2017-18 - Played in six events as a junior with a stroke average of 78.5 ... had one below-par round of 71 ... had his best event with a +9 at the JR Watkins Invitational where he finished tied for 42nd. 

2016-17 - Jensen played in five events, finishing with a stroke average of 78.2 as a sophomore ... He had a low round of 74. 

2015-16 - Played three fall tournaments for Southern during his freshman season...in nine rounds Jensen averaged a score of 79.3...his lowest rounds of 75 came in the final two rounds of the MSSU Men's Fall Invitational (Sept. 14-15) at Shangri-La Country Club and the opening round of the Texoma Championships (Sept. 28-29)...Jensen's best finish came at the home event at Shangri-La where he shared 36th with a 17-over 233.

Prior to Southern - Jensen comes to Southern from Mt. Vernon, Missouri where he was a four year letter winner for Coach Dave Soetaert and the Mountaineers. As a freshman he earned first team All-District honors and repeated that selection during his sophomore campaign while adding first team All-Big 8 and Conference Player of the year, and All-State honors. During his junior year Jensen repeated as first team All-Big 8 and All-District.

As a team MVHS finished third at the MSHSAA Class 2 state meet in 2012 and tied for sixth in 2013. As an individual Jensen's highest finish at the MSHSAA State tournament was tied for 11th his sophomore season with a two round total of 158. He also won the Big 8 Conference tournament that season.

Jenson was also a guard for the Mt. Vernon boy's basketball team.

Personal - Jenson is the son of Terry and Tracy Jensen. He plans to major in business while at Southern. Jensen's uncle, Todd Johnson, played baseball at Missouri Valley while is grandfather, Gary Johnson, played baseball at then Southwest Missouri State.
