Biography

2017-18 - Vining played in six events and 17 total rounds for the Green and Gold as a junior ... he finished with a stroke average of 79.7 and a low-round of 74 ... His best finish came at HSU when he was tied for 33rd with teammate Grant Sikes. 

Prior to Southern - transferred to Southern after Paris JC cut the golf program following his freshman season...played in two fall tournaments for the Dragons, tied for 26th in the Tyler JC Fall Invitational and played in the Paris Fall Invitational on the PJC Gold Team...a graduate of Christchurch Boys HS, Vining played three sports: golf, rugby, and cricket...helped CBHS to the Canterbury Secondary Schools Matchplay Championship, the Blank Cup Championship, and was part of the South Island Under 19 Champions.

Personal - son of Craig and Lynda Vining...plans to major in accounting and psychology at Southern.
