Played in all 21 games with 19 starts … finished seventh in the Missouri Valley Conference in 2020 with a .400 batting average and ninth in the league in on-base percentage (.478) … slashed .400/.478/.433 … reached base in 16 of SIU’s 21 games … recorded multiple hits in eight games, which included a pair of three-hit performances … notched a hit in six of Southern’s last seven games … went 3-for-4 and became the 20th player in program history to score 100-plus career runs against Nicholls State (2/16) … went 2-for-3 with the go-ahead RBI-double in Southern’s win over Michigan State (2/22) … tied her career-high with two RBI against NIU (3/6) … posted a perfect fielding percentage and recorded an outfield assist against Purdue Fort Wayne (3/1) ... finishes her career ranked in the top-25 in school history in on-base percentage (13th; .405), runs scored (T-15th; 111), batting average (21st; .315) and hits (21st; 164).

Appeared in all 53 games, including 52 starts in the outfield … Hit .278 with five doubles and seven RBI … Led the Salukis with three outfield assists and finished second on the team with 25 walks … Finished second on the team in walks (25) and was one of four Salukis to score 30-plus runs … Notched 11 multi-hit games … Went 4-for-5 with three runs scored vs. Stony Brook (2/24) … Walked a career-best three times against Murray State (3/4).

Started all 57 games for the Salukis, one of four players to do so... Hit .293 with 14 RBI and two home runs... Led the team in at-bats (181), hits (53) and runs (40)... HIGH SCHOOL / SUMMER BALL
Baranski was a team leader for one of the best club programs in the nation. She led the Beverly Bandits in batting average three-straight years, while the club finished with seven top-10 finishes at national tournament. Baranski hit better than .430 every year with the Bandits, including a .520 mark with 12 doubles and 35 RBIs in 2015. At Marian Catholic high school, Baranski is a two-time All-State, three-time All-Area selection and is the MCHS single-season record holder for hits, doubles and runs scored.

Born to Sheila and Joe Baranski on March 9, 1998... Mother is a speech pathologist, her father is a gym teacher... Has two younger siblings, Katie and Joe... Also played volleyball and basketball in high school.
