"Who looks upon a river in a meditative hour, and is not reminded of the flux of all things? Throw a stone into the stream, and the circles that propagate themselves are the beautiful type of all influence." - Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nature.

Our first 'pebble' was thrown into the stream of life during 1985, and it was in the form of a question: Why can't you play rock 'n' roll all day long on the British airwaves, when you can on the American airwaves? That was in 1985, and the prohibiting factor was something called 'needle time'. Not only have needles and vinyl records mainly disappeared, but 'needle time' was eventually abandoned by the British record industry which had imposed the rationing.

However, the airwaves of Britain are still tightly regulated to prevent the democratic discussions of religion and politics. The UK is still governed by sovereignty residing in its Crown corporation sole which is tightly allied by law to a State church in England, even though Scotland is a part of the union which forms the de facto United Kingdom.

Consequently we have been throwing a lot more stones and causing a lot of additional ripples by raising a lot more questions about a lot more topics. If you would like to participate, please visit our Facebook page.
