Representatives Bobby Scott and Lori Trahan will ensure that organized labor always has a seat at the DCCC’s table
Today, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairwoman Cheri Bustos announced that Representatives Bobby Scott (VA-03) and Lori Trahan (MA-03) will serve as the Labor Council Co-Chairs for the 2020 cycle. Scott and Trahan have been deeply involved with the labor movement for years. The Labor Council Co-Chairs will work with organized labor to ensure their priorities are being incorporated in the DCCC’s agenda, including recruiting and electing pro-labor candidates.
“Organized labor is the backbone of the Democratic Party, and we are proud to have Representatives Bobby Scott and Lori Trahan leading our Labor Council,” said Chairwoman Cheri Bustos. “They know how to get real results for hardworking families, and I’m honored to have their help leading labor outreach efforts at the DCCC.”
