We are honored to have received more artist entries into the 2020 Lakeside Statewide Juried Art Exhibition than in any other year in recent memory! We had 89 artists submit 248 artworks in a wide range of mediums to be juried for the exhibition. This is nearly double the number of artists and artworks submitted last year. It was very hard to narrow down choices to only 50 items to be displayed in our galleries for this year’s exhibition.

This year’s juror is Pamela Vogan Lynch. She has chosen the items to include in the exhibition and will also choose the winners of the cash prizes.

Pamela Vogan Lynch is an artist/educator, retired after thirty-five years with the Oneida City School District, where she taught middle school and high school advanced media courses, including all three AP Art Portfolio classes. In addition, she served as OCSD Director of Art K – 12 from 1988 until her retirement in 2011.

She now focuses on her own art, participating in various art media workshops and exhibiting in galleries throughout the region. Although her more recent work has been in watercolor, Lynch enjoys working with oils, acrylics, mixed media, pastels, jewelry, stained glass, and fiber arts. Her paintings have been selected for inclusion in regional, national, and international juried exhibitions.

Pam currently serves on the Central New York Watercolor Society (CNYWS) Board of Directors, and is a Signature member with Gold Medallion status in the organization. Lynch is also a member of the Cazenovia Watercolor Society, the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, and the American Watercolor Society.
