New NCAA Restrictions Prompt Updates to Scheduled Home Events

LA JOLLA, Calif. – The UC San Diego men's basketball team will host the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball West Regional at RIMAC Arena beginning Friday, March 13. On Wednesday afternoon, the NCAA announced that all winter championships – including this weekend's Regional – will be conducted without fans.
 
Here is the NCAA statement:
 
Each member of the team's official travel party (20 maximum) will receive up to six complimentary tickets for entrance via a pass list. Family members of participating student-athletes should work with their institution on access to the pass list.

OTHER UC SAN DIEGO HOME EVENTS
In light of Wednesday afternoon's announcement, other UC San Diego home events this weekend will now be closed to non-essential personnel as well. UC San Diego has home women's water polo on Friday night, and home baseball Friday through Sunday. Six complimentary tickets per member of the official travel party will also be provided admittance via a pass list.
