Ruth Cardello, the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of Up for Heir, turns a fairy-tale romance into a sizzling bedtime story.

Rachelle Westerly needs a break. After years of acting as the family peacekeeper, she’s finally ready to take a step back. Her movie-star brother has offered her the perfect escape. But on the very first day of her vacation, she steps onto a red carpet and straight into the arms of a real-life prince—and the promise of just the kind of flash and fortune that tore her own family apart.

As the soon-to-be leader of Vandorra, Prince Magnus de Bartelebon always gets what he wants—and the regal bad boy wants the sweet American schoolteacher. Although he should be announcing his engagement of convenience to a neighboring princess, Rachelle is the one he desires in his bed and by his side.

While the drop-dead gorgeous Magnus might be almost everything she craves, Rachelle can’t help but think that falling for him would be a royal mistake. He may be ruling a kingdom one day, but she’s in charge of her heart. And he’ll have to win it with more than a lap of luxury—as inviting as it is.

"I'm a true fan of Ms. Cardello. I ran on to her first book a few years back and have been hooked ever since. I could go on and on about the story like of this book, but I'm not. All of her books are total page turners, unique, heart wrenching, and I love them all. There isn't two alike in the bunch and I feel like i know the characters personally. I personally read 97 authors books. And I buy every book they put out. This author is in my top 10. Great job and keep them coming."

"Love this series. Got me to start reading again. I look forward to the next book. Thank you for giving me the love of reading back."

Ruth Cardello was born the youngest of 11 children in a small city in northern Rhode Island. She spent her young adult years moving as far away as she could from her large extended family. I liked this one but I think that it was the weakest book in the series for me. I don't usually look for royal romances and I am not really sure if I am a fan of the trope or not. I like the idea of a royal romance but I can't really think of any that I was excited to read either. I wanted to read this book because I really enjoyed the first two books from the series and wanted to see what would happen to the other members of the Westerly family. I was never completely hooked by this story but I did find it to be a decent listen.

I must say that I missed the family drama from the first two books. This book takes Rachelle overseas to be with her brother, Eric, who has been largely absent from the series. Many of the characters that I loved from the first two books were not even in the country for this one. Rachelle wasn't my favorite from the earlier books in the series so I really missed seeing the rest of the group.

I can't say that I really liked Magnus. I can see that he had some good qualities but I was never completely won over by him. I did like seeing Rachelle and Eric grow a bit closer and I thought that the charity work that the characters were involved in was quite touching.

I am glad that I listened to this book. Teri Clark Linden did a great job with the narration handling a large cast of characters with ease. She added a lot of excitement to the story. I think that readers who are fans of royal romances might like this one a bit more than I did.

Initial Thoughts
This was okay. I didn't like it nearly as much as the previous two books in the series. I think that I missed having all of the family drama that was in the first book. I didn't feel as much chemistry between Magnus and Rachelle as I would have liked. The narrator did a great job with the book.

The third book in Ruth Cardello’s Westerly Billionaire series centers on Rachelle Westerly. A schoolteacher and family peacemaker, she takes off for England to see her brother Eric. When she meets Prince Mangus, she feels an attraction, yet does not want to open up her heart to him. Yet in order to help her brother, she finds herself accepting the arrogant princes’ help. Of course Mangus takes this opportunity to win her over, but little does he know that he has his work cut out for him and with danger lurking in the shadows, he finds himself protecting her as her life depends on it.

By far the best read of this series!
Did I like H and h's introduction?? Damnnn it was sooo good💕

Thankfully Rachel wasn't too over bearing in her own story. I was thankful she realised her that drawback in her nature. Other than that, she was amazing. A good sister and personal. I liked her sincerity, even though her way of expression is not conventional.

Magnus is an arrogant, egoistical but a really nice and honest man. The way he treat everyone shows he'll be a good king one day.

Reggie was my favourite side character here. His witty answers were so entertaining.

All in all, fabulous writing, plotting and storyline.

Magnus needs to work on those wooing skills, the man zometimes has no tact, “would it help if I told you that I normally avoid complicated, but you’re one hot mess I can’t get out of my head?” Magnus's girl sure knows how to rein him in when he needs it, "he pulled her hand to his lips and nipped it gently. “But you’ve found a quick cure for a b***r.” Magnus is always busting his woman's chops, "he lightly slapped her rump beneath the bedsheets. “Perhaps I would do better with some instruction. What does an American man say after a night of good ***?” I loved this book, Magnus was a joy to read about and Rachelle did nit make things easy in him.

The dynamic between Rachelle and Prince Magnus was so much fun to read. The way they met at Eric's premiere was hilarious. I loved her sweet demeanor, yet she was feisty and held her own. Magnus held that arrogance that comes with royalty. I really loved it when she would knock him down a notch or two, and he seemed to enjoy it as well. They had great chemistry, and I liked how the tension built between these two. There was a lot going on around them, with her family's issues and Delinda showing up. There was some excitement and danger mixed in their story too. I really liked it from start to finish.

Royal Heir (Westerly Billionaire, #3) by Ruth Cardello
We want the fairytale. We need the fairytale.  Ruth Cardello makes sure that we get it. Royal Heir is every romantic's dream. To find a happy ending.  However,  Ms. Cardello switches it up as only she can.   Rachelle and Magnus, have to first rescue themselves,  before they get a happily ever after.  For Magnus, that means letting go of his ingrained bitterness and mistrust by allowing himself to love.  For Rachelle, that means releasing herself from the past and looking ahead to the future.   Amazing that one little boy could set about healing a lifetime of damage, with a less than simple request.   The power of hope is a wonderful thing.

Rachelle Westerly needs a break. After years of acting as the family peacekeeper, she decides to go and visit her movie star brother. Rachelle is an amazing character. She is smart and funny , quite amd reserved and a heart so full of love. Rachelle loves with everything she has. Soon-to-be leader of Vandorra, Prince Magnus de Bartelebon always gets what he wants. At first I really didnt like the macho ego Magnus has. Magnus instantly wants Rachelle. Can a macho heart love a macho ego? I loved this book, i can't wait to read more in the series. Very well written. It makes you laugh and love and cry. It has it all.

“Not yet. Go back to the guests, Father. I’ll handle this.” King Tadeas put a hand on his son’s shoulder. “I am a father first and a king second. My place is with you. This is one fight you won’t face alone.”

You just don't understand how much fun I had with this book. Rachelle and Magnus as a couple was funny and inspiring. I think Reggie and Finn took the cake but that Epilogue... I cried. To have a heart that big, fictional or not is unheard of. I was invested and loved the love and commitment she portrayed from beginning to end.

Ruth did it again and ROCKED this story from start to finish.

In Royal Heir we revisit the Westerly family and all that is their crazy, messed up relationships. Rachelle goes to London to check on her brother, Eric because he seemed “off” at their brother’s wedding. Once there she is met with a very cool welcome and begins to feel like she is definitely not wanted in Eric’s home. While at the premiere of Eric’s new movie, Rachelle meets Crown Prince Magnus Gustavus Valentine de Bartelebon and he is a pretentious as his name sounds. Magnus is definitely the kind of guy who gets what he wants and he wants Rachelle. While she keeps saying no, Rachelle begins to lose a piece of her heart each time the Prince shows his true self to her and not just the playboy who wants her in his bed.

This is the third book in the Westerly series and I love going back to visit this crazy, mixed up, dysfunctional family. It is always fun to see what everybody is up to and this one is no different. The grandmother is definitely there trying to stir up “trouble”, Eric needs help and Rachelle is up to her neck in Royal “stuff”. I love this family and thoroughly enjoyed seeing Rachelle get her HEA even if it is with a Prince who definitely has no self-esteem issues! It was a blast getting to know Rachelle and her Prince.

I received an ARC from Netgalley for an honest review.

Excellent story! I LOVE the Westerly's! This is Rachellel's story and it was fun and snarky, sexy and exciting! Two great characters and their individual situations was so enjoyable to read.

Rachelle is strong and independent and loyal but she is unsure of herself. Magnus is a Prince with the weight of his country's success on his shoulders and DEFINITELY doesn't believe in love. When these two get together it's fireworks!!

I read a ARC review copy from NG for review purposes.

This is book book 3 in the series and I really enjoyed it. It was definitely one that I could not put down. It stars Rachelle Westerly who is in Europe with her actor brother Eric. Eric has major issues and I mean MAJOR and Rachelle knows this but he also is estranged and he gives her a hard time in letting her in.

Magnus is a prince who is not a people person. One day he meets a sick child and the child wants to meet his hero, a comic book movie hero played by Eric. However Eric ducks Magnus as well. Until Magnus finds his achille's heel and thats how he meets Rachelle.

They fall into lust and he works hard to get her to trust him and let him in. I really enjoyed this story and it has lots of twists and turns but it was also very romantic and I loved how kind and giving Magnus is while he tries to get what he wants namely Rachelle.

A Prince, a super hero, a real and down to earth heroine, and so much more in Ruth Cardellos new Westerly novel. A warm, funny, unconventional romance. Prince Marcus on a mission to grant a wish for a sick child in his homeland, takes him to England to bring the actor who plays the super hero to meet him. Along the way he bumps into a gorgeous woman, mistakes her identity. Rachelle is stunned when she sees Prince Marcus on the Red carpet at her brothers premier. Marcus finds her attitude towards him, sassy, funny, and calling him on his arrogance, totally refreshing. Will they? Could they? Should they? Will his people accept her, his father? All the answers are in a great read, thoroughly enjoyed the characters, romance, sexy scenes and the way it ends. Looking forward to the next installment.

I absolutely loved this book!!! Everything I hope to happen in a book happened. There was tons of laughter along with some suspense and a few tears were also shed. It's just amazing how each book seems to get netter than the one before. Ruth is definitely a go to author and I will never fail to read any book she writes!!!

What woman in their right mind would tell Prince Magnus no? Rachelle, that's who. All she wants to do is spend some time with her brother and get to know him better. Magnus is just looking to make the lives of his subjects better. They have a few rough spots along the way, but it makes the ending so much better because of these.

Ugh! I absolutely hate it when an author whose books I love has one come out that just leaves me flat. I'm not a huge fan of "Royal" stories so it's likely that it just isn't for me.

To be fair though the book is very well done. The writing is excellent, the pace is nice, and the characters whether you love them or hate them are memorable. So if you enjoy a little royalty in your romances this book could be for you.

Poor follow up to the previous books. Disappointed in the total asshole the Prince turned out to be. I am so sick and tired of romance authors thinking that women just want to be controlled and treated like trash and call it love. I don’t care if he fit her in all the other things that mattered. The arrogant and egotistical jackass ways that he treated a good woman were despicable. That behavior is not acceptable.

Not Ever Girl wants a Prince, and Not Every Prince is Charming !! This is so true!! Ruth takes an idea and expands it into a very entertaining and heart warming story that is very believable. Rachelle Westerly is looking for peace and rest..where as Prince Magnus de Bartelebon is looking to what he does best. Anything he wants! As the teaser from Ruth tells you sparks will fly, but she doesn't tell you the out come, and neither will I. This book is to be savored and enjoyed to the most. The characters are unique yet you feel like you know them or at least someone who is like them. That's the power of this special author's talent. She Makes Her Characters Very Real to the Lover of a Superb Book ! Don't skip by this one cause you think you know whats going to happen.. Get it and enjoy!!

Ruth Cardello has done it again. While thinking her writing and stories couldn't get any better, Boom there it is. Rochelle the family peacekeeper meets the playboy prince. Ruth's writing just grabs you from the beginning and keeps you right through the ending. She humanizes her characters so well that it's hard not to think of them as friends. Royal Heir is totally worth the read. A warm cuddly read you won't want to put down. Good for this never-ending winter.

When ever I get a hold of one of Ruth's books I am never let down. She always seems to surprise me with every turn I take while reading one of her books. Royal Heir is no different. I need to find out how Ruth comes up with these characters and the story for them that fits so perfectly. I think Rachelle and Magnus have become my favorite couple. This story is just so captivating. I can't wait to see what else Ruth has up her sleeve.

Rachelle Westerly is my new favorite heroine. I identify with her because she tries to be family's peacekeeper. However all peacekeepers need a break sometimes. Rachelle finds a way to let some steam off by finding something very unexpected. Love. I highly recommend this book!!! Ruth Cardello has once again written a fantastic book!!!!!

His Greatest Treasure!!!

Rachelle Westerly needed a break from her family's drama. After acting like the family's peacemaker for years, her movie star brother Eric gave her the perfect opportunity to escape.

Her first day of vacation wasn't as relaxing as she thought it would be, she found herself living in a house with staff members and didn't see the brother to visit at all. She decided to go to Eric's movie premiere, while on the red carpet she landed in the arms of a real life Prince.

Prince Magnus Gustavus Valentine de Bartelebon, the soon to be leader of Vandorra was at Eric Westerly's movie premiere as a promise to a little boy he met at a hospital he visited in his father's place.

He never expected for his world to get turned upside down. But it happened when an angel landed in his arms. He always got what he wanted, and he has set his sights on the beautiful and down to earth schoolteacher Rachelle Westerly. Even though he should be announcing his engagement of convenience to .

Rachelle knew how money and luxury could tear people apart cause she saw what it did to her family. And she might be attracted to Magnus, the man was going to rule a kingdom someday but she was the ruler of her heart. He had to win it ; not with luxury that's for sure.

And he did, just when things were going great, Rachelle's grandmother showed up in Vandorra which led to misunderstandings between Magnus and Rachelle. They eventually worked things out then his family tried to snatched his happiness away from him.

Magnus and Rachelle got their HEA....Loved how she was able to reconnect with Eric and her grandmother. It was wonderful catching up with previous characters and meeting new ones.

ROYAL HEIR is the third book in Ruth Cardello's WESTERLY BILLIONAIRE series. It was alluring, heartwarming and humorous. Excellent job by Ruth Cardello!

P. S. Looking forward to Eric's story! ;)

I have been anxiously awaiting the release of Royal Heir the third installment of Ruth Cardello's Westerly Billionaires Series.

I was not disappointed, I didn't think the author could top the other two books in this series but she did and left me wanting more.

Rachelle Westerly is the nurturer of the family and always puts her siblings first. She feels that she needs to get away for awhile and takes her brother Eric up on his offer to visit him in Europe.

When she arrives it is to find that Eric is preparing for the Premiere of his latest film and she think his not inviting her is an oversight on his part so she goes alone to surprise him.

It is there on the Red Carpet that she meets Prince Magnus who is not exactly Prince Charming. He has his own reason for wanting to meet Eric but meets his sister instead.

They end up sitting next to each other in the "Gasp" gallery where hilarity ensures. At the end of the evening the paparazzi takes a picture of them together and writes an insulting caption. Which captures the eye of Grandmother Westerly in the States.

No one insults a Westerly and gets away with it, not even a Prince!

There are so many twists and turns in this book that you will keep turning the pages to get to the end and want to start again.

You will see Grandmother Westerly in a whole new light when she meets Prince Magnus father King Tades.

You will meet Reggie and Finn and pray that Ms. Cardello writes them into book four (there has to be a book four)

The stories of the Westerly children get better and better and have been able to pull me in faster and faster. For Rachelle Westerly and Prince Magnus their story even has a moment of suspense and action that added a quick and thrilling element to the story.

Rachelle is the heart of the family. Having always been the mother hen to her siblings, she does all she can to try and keep peace within the family using her skills and intuition honed by her elementary school teacher career. After the upheaval in her family she, too, is just as lost as her siblings and wants so badly to reconnect with the most elusive sibling of all, her older brother Eric.

In her attempt to get closer to her older brother, she finds herself in the arms of an arrogant, commanding and brooding prince that takes her breath away and infuriates her all in the same breath.

So used to getting his way and not considering the feelings of those around him, Rachelle’s presence ends up bring out the softer side of him he felt would hinder his job as a great ruler for his country. She shows him there is a way to rule with a stern hand AND a kind heart. Their opposite nature compliment each other in a way that works and together they find a love to rival any fairytale.

The story was beautiful and sexy and entertaining from start to finish.

I came fashionably late to the Westerly Billionaire party late, and I'm really regretting trying to fix my hair for so long, because Royal Heir is the first book I've read in this series, and I couldn't get enough! And it's my favorite book of the talented Ruth Cardello to date. It all started when Rachelle Westerly decided she needed a break, and went to visit her movie star brother. But her first day there, she realizes that something isn't right, she ends up at his premiere, and on the red carpet falls into the arms of a real life prince. Crazy busy day right? However, Prince Magnus de Bartelebon of Vandorra, is completely rude & arrogant to her, and she wants nothing more to do with him, not matter how hot he is, nor how much he makes her pulse race. Magnus is used to getting what he wants, and after seeing Rachelle, he wants the hot mess American, who doesn't let him get away with anything. Who will win their battle of wills at the end of the day? This was one crazy ride with a side of sexy. Rachelle had a big heart, so I was firmly on her side no matter what, and ready to throat punch any male in her life that hurt her feelings. And while Magnus was stupid hot, he made some questionable douche decisions that had me clenching that fist ready to throw down. But I couldn't deny their chemistry which threw sparks out of my kindle. Plus, the cast of secondaries added more depth, drama, and at times, humor to the whole mix. Finally, out of left field, some twists had the f-bombs dropping, and sweet kids had my eyes leaking to top this story off perfectly. I cannot wait to read this whole series, past & future, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Rachelle is in London trying to get away from her family and all their problems. Staying at Eric's place might give her the chance to bond with him without all the disturbances her family usually creates. But Eric is not around enough for her to do that.

Meeting Crown Prince Magnus at Eric's movie premiere does not go well. He is the most arrogant and rude man she has ever met. Thanks to Eric's intervention, Magnus is warned Rachelle is not to be disrespected. But something goes terribly wrong and the paparazzi make a meal of it. Now Rachelle's reputation is at stake. Magnus must make amends.

Delinda is not to be toyed with. Once she realizes the mess that Rachelle is in, she acts like a grandmama-bear to fix this problem. If you are a fan of this book series, you know things are about to start popping once Delinda gets involved!

I adore this series. This is a complex, diverting, and passionate series and Delinda is bound to meddle in everyone's business trying to solve problems and make sure her grandchildren are taken care of. Totally recommended!

I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I thank the author for sharing a copy with me.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is the third book in the series, and I would definitely recommend that you read them in order, as the family dynamics are key to these stories. Each one is unique, and I enjoyed that this one went into the royal prince romance route.

Rachelle, who due to worrying about her estranged brother Eric, is now living in his mansion in London, trying to spend time getting to know him. However he has other ideas - and as we learn why, it reveals more of the fractures that the family splitting caused in these siblings. She does however meet Prince Magnus, and have an annoying attraction to the arrogant man. Their first meeting is subject to the most crazy misunderstanding, but rather funny!

Obviously Rachelle's grandmother Delinda has to get involved and everything becomes more than just a fairy tale romance. I can admit that I had a few tears at times, but also did quite a bit of chortling at Rachelle's cheeky ways. It was good to catch up with how the Westerleys are all moving forward too.

Another enjoyable addition to the series - do give them a go, if you haven't already.
