Instructional program should mirror to the extent possible what the classroom teacher has planned for in-person, so when the students return to full in-person learning, the students can continue with the teacher-led program.
School work shall be issued in the format that best fits the school’s learning design in adequate volume and distributed in a timely manner. Schools may consider the following options when delineating efficient pathways for students to access school work during distance learning.
Physical work packets being sent home with the student;
Lessons via Google classrooms or other electronic platforms; and/or
Use of Choice Boards to provide weekly supplemental learning opportunities.

Choice Boards
To assist principals and teachers in planning for the continuity of learning, the Office of Curriculum and Instructional Design is offering Choice Boards as one option to provide weekly supplemental learning opportunities for students in Pre-Kindergarten through high school. The first two weeks focus on the four core subject areas of English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Computer Science, Fine Arts, Health, Physical Education, and World Language are included beginning Week 3. There are nine weeks of content provided that may be adjusted to meet the needs of the school.
