Three Guilty Pleasures

Rate this book
I didn’t expect to fall off the stage and land in the powerful arms of this gorgeous man.

He’s a brutal warrior on the rugby field and a delicate artist with the cello, and the combination is irresistible. His music seduces. It inspires my dancing and demands my surrender.

I gave up on my dream once, and I’ll need his help to resume the chase.

And when we take the stage together, I’m willing to give him everything. My submission. The dark secret I’ve been keeping. Even my tenuous heart.

But will he want any of it once he knows the truth?

I have been a huge fan of Nikki Sloane's Blindfold Club series and was so excited that Tara was getting a book. This story was absolutely delicious and had the trademark Sloane Steam factor with an added emotional twist. I loved Tara and Grant and found them to be so sweet together!

Grant was different from the usual alphas Sloane has in that he had an endearing and almost sweet personality. He was just as rugged and sexy being a burly rugby player and was quite sexy. I loved that there were different facets to his personality based on being involved in rugby and journalism, namely his aggressiveness and dogged determination. He was a great match for Tara. I thought the elements of secrets between them gave an additional element of angst and tension that had me glued in
my seat.

All in all, this was a great addition to the series and I look forward to more from this author in the future. 4 stars! ~Ratula

4.5 stars. Tara has been around since the very first book in this series, as a side character or to enhance a scene because she works at the club, and now she finally gets her spotlight. While I've always liked her, I was really surprised by how much her character had to offer since she always seemed to simply be an extra sexy bonus person in the other stories, with little insight to her true personality. Grant is Ruby’s best friend from Three Sweet Nothings who plays rugby and the cello. When he and Tara meet face to face, it's literally like out of a romance novel (oh wait, is that what this is?) in the way he gallantly rescues her and their eyes make contact.

Because of Tara's participation in the Blindfold Club and also her trysts with another Dom couple (Tara is a sub), she hasn't really tried to date anyone because that would be hard for another partner to accept. What's surprising about Grant is how conventional, but nonjudgmental, he seemed as Ruby's best friend, but in his own perspective, Grant is extremely open minded and he is very competitive. Which means he loves a good challenge and doesn't easily shy away from obstacles so getting to know Tara, even with limitations set in place, isn't a hardship for him. I loved the scenes between Tara and Grant when she dances and he plays the cello. That really highlights the connection they have, and not just on an artistic level.

Of course there's steamy and scorching hot scenes. There's also a tenderness and emotional vulnerability between Grant and Tara even before all the cards have been laid on the table. And somehow, Nikki Sloane managed to save the best for last because there's a scene towards the end which really had me hovering over every single word because it's really climatic in multiple ways (no pun intended). The irony is that Joseph plays a crucial role in this book, and while he's not a main character, he finally won me over to where I actually like him now. Grant and Tara are a fantastic couple and addition to this series and I hope there will be more of these characters in the future.

This one was a 3.5 (rounded up for the stars)

It could've been a full 4, but I was teased with the grouping of Tara and Grant along with Doms Regan and Silas.

Not that I didn't appreciate a good Joseph Comeback for a moment but...... that was all? It was built up to be a great scene, but just ended up as one apology scene. Whomp, whomp, whomp.😔

3-3.25 stars. I am conflicted on this book. There were parts I really liked and parts I didn't. This is is Tara and Grant's book. Tara is an ameteur ballet dancer and she works at the Blindfold Club on the table (as a prostitute). Grant is Ruby's (from Three Sweet Nothings) best friend. He is a semi-professional rugby player and a cellist. While Tara is rehearsing on stage for a performance, she falls off the stage into the orchestra pit and onto Grant's lap. The two have a pretty instant connection and like each other right away. But Tara has some major complications and things that she is afraid to tell Grant, like that she works at the Blindfold Club. The two have a lot to work out before they can begin a relationship and they fall in love along the way.

I liked Tara and Grant. Tara is very open sexually and a free spirit. Grant is a good guy and he doesn't shy away from Tara's secrets. He wants her any way he can get her. They had good chemistry and made a fun, sexy couple and a good match.

What I didn't love was that Tara is a committed submissive with two Doms, Silas and Regan from Three Dirty Secrets. I didn't like that she was a necessary part of their relationship. It ruined their HEA for me a bit. I didn't love the descriptive sexy scenes between them sprinkled in the book because I felt it took away from Tara and Grant's relationship. Admittedly, FFM menage is not my favorite. While Tara did not love her doms, she really liked being with them and their sexy times. It is a big part of the book that she has this relationship with them and it dictates how her relationship with Grant plays out. It is not clear at the end of the book whether she continues to be their submissive, while being in a relationship with Grant. He showed himself to also be a dom and he loved her. I didn't understand why he would possibly not be enough for her. Maybe if her doms had been two random others, instead of a past couple from the series, I would have liked the scenario more or understood it better. Instead, it made Silas and Regan, and her being their submissive, the obstacle to her relationship with Grant and the "bad guy" in the situation. She abstains for actually sleeping with Grant because of their rules for her, meanwhile sleeping with them even at the very end. I only enjoyed the sexy scenes with Grant alone.

Also, the fact that she worked at the Blindfold Club and had sex for money, was a turn on for both her and Grant. We didn't know if she continues that or not at the end. I was just left with the feeling that monogamy and one sexual partner in each other was not that important to them. I was not comfortable with that. In all of Nikki Sloane's other books, I liked that the couple was truly committed, possessive, and obsessed with each other alone. That did not feel the case here. The end felt kind of rushed and vague. There is an epilogue, but the details of their relationship are blurry and not defined.

This is definitely a sexy book. I liked Tara and Grant as a couple and felt their love. I just couldn't wrap my head around Grant being okay with Tara sleeping with others. I wanted more of a defined relationship and I needed more details of how it would be. Still, this is an entertaining and easy read. I enjoyed the book overall,. even if it's not my fave from this series. I still love this series and Nikki Sloane's books and look forward to more from her in the future.

Three Guilty Pleasures by Nikki Sloane was SO MUCH FUN to read! This book was super hot, but it also had a great storyline that I really enjoyed reading. This is one of those books that once you start reading you can't put it down until you have finished. Which is exactly what happened for me.

Grant is such a contradiction - he is a big, hot, rugby player who is super competitive across all areas of his life. But he is also Hot Cello guy, and can be very endearing at times. It was so sweet how serious he took learning some music for Tara. Tara knows that she is falling fast for Grant, but is worried how he will react once she tells him everything. Will he be accepting of her and still want her once he has all the information??

Tara and Grant were a great couple - after their first *face to face* meeting, I couldn't wait to get further into the storyline and see how it all played out. The anticipation of when they would each discover certain information about the other kept me glued to the screen. I knew it was going to be explosive, and the ending of this book was (you guessed it!) really HOT.

Read this if you like like a super hot romance and are already into the Blindfold Club world Nikki Sloane has created.

Avoid this if you don’t like lying by omission from the hero or heroine. Plus, the introduction of book #4's hero and heroine here kinda ruined the last book's ending for me..

Spice level 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 Explicit and plentiful (multiple and adventurous scenes)

Standalone or part of a series? Part of a series but can be read alone.

Nikki Sloane does it again! Three Guilty Pleasures is the final book in the The Blindfold Club series and features Grant and Tara. It is a stand-alone with appearances from many of the past Blindfold couples. There are no rules with these stories!

The elusive blindfold club catered to wealthy clients who had deep pockets and a taste for kink.

Grant and Tara meet accidentally- meaning she accidentally fell from a stage and he catches her! Their chemistry together is palpable! But there are secrets between them and rules are put in place (no spoilers). Oh how hard it is not to break these rules! It is so erotic and incredibly hot watching them navigate around the “rules.”

I was a free-spirited dancer, who wore provocative clothes, never fit in, and stopped trying to years ago.

What can I say? Nikki Sloane writes some of the hottest, erotic stories I have read with usually at least one ménage. The pages will burn your fingers as you turn them! Three Guilty Pleasures had me squirming in my seat! Seductive, steamy, sexy and romantic!

I felt that there was so much more of a connection between Grant and Tara than any other of the Blindfold couples despite the secrets between them. Grant and Tara shared an intimacy, an emotional bond as they confided their fears and secrets (well, most of them). Of course there is a bit of drama and a touch of angst to round out the story. I have enjoyed the series and my husband has enjoyed the after effects!

If you want to step outside of your comfort zone, want to read a hot & steamy story with a touch of the forbidden then Three Guilty Pleasures is for you! Although it is a stand-alone, you will want to go back to book#1, Three Simple Rules, to watch everything unfold from the beginning….

Sex and love were something I separated a long time ago. You didn’t need one to have the other.

5 Stars!

Nikki Sloane is back with one of my very favorite erotic series... the insanely amazing Blindfold Club series. It's been a while since I've read one of these books but I was back in the swing of things in no time, after merely just a few pages.

Three Guilty Pleasures was a brilliant, intense, sexy, erotic, different, boundary pushing standalone romance that had me hanging on to every little word (there were a bunch!) and racing through the pages, devouring every single unforgettable moment between these two. Grant and Tara captivated my heart from their first meeting in that room and completely dominated my brain right from the very beginning to the last word. These two were undeniable in every single little way, with zinging sparks everywhere and the chemistry... heat between them was scorching, electric and suffocating in moments.

Riveting. Spellbinding. Addicting. Unputdownable. Passionate. This book y'all... it was filled with so much heat and heart with a whole lot of exciting and fascinating moments... and it was perfection in every imperfectly beautiful way and every single word in this journey was worth the wait.

You will not want to put this book down once your start. Nikki delivered the absolute BEST in this series and Tara/Grant are totally my new favorite couple.

I highly recommend this book.

I’m back!!! Have, I missed you guys! For my
first ARC back, Three guilty pleasures couldn’t have been more perfect!! I’ve been following Nikki sloan’s, blindfold series from the beginning!! While reading this book, I just kept wanting to re-read the whole series again. I’ve heard this is the last book in the series, and that makes me sad. Nikki Sloan, can write some awesome characters! Tara and Grant were everything!!

Lord, where these two complex characters. And they can do anything they put their mind too. They have an interesting story, and i was so happy to see, Tara got her own story. And what a catch!!! Where can i get me a Grant?! He was big, sexy, and so damn amazing, i want him for myself!!

What i love about this book, (besides everything) was how refreshing Tara and Grants relationship was. It was easy going, sexy, and so damn adorable I couldn’t keep the smile off my face!!

This was just the welcome back to reading, I needed! I am so looking forward to my re- read of this series. What a way to to start the new year!! I recommend this book to anyone whose looking for a seductive rugby player with a heart of gold!

When I want to read intense and creative sex scenes, I read the Blindfold Club.

This book started off fairly straight-forward. There was one issue introduced early, that remained hanging over the MCs which annoyed me for the first 2/3 of the book - arrggh, when was the other shoe going to drop? The build-up and the sex scenes were just what I was hoping for. Plus the music and dance was very well described.

Silly me, I should trust this author. When the shoe dropped, it was a big waffle-stomper, and the resolution was crazy.

This book was not the best of the bunch (#4), but it was very good. The epilogue suggests that the series will continue, though perhaps in a different form.

This may be my favorite of the series...just wow! HOT HOT HOT!!!! I immediately connected with and loved Tara and Grant, as individual characters and as a couple. I loved their passion...for their talents and each other. And, ahem, boy did they have passion. I really, really loved how creative Grant became 😏
It was great seeing a few past characters as well. This series is truly amazing. There is a STORY in each book.
Nikki knows how to write an incredibly SIZZLING story with the perfect mix of love and eroticism. She writes it better than any I’ve read!!
Highly recommend this book and the entire series!!!

It's a Merry Christmas/end of 2018 present in the form of Book 6 from the Blindfold Club series, what more could you ask for!!??
Three Guilty Pleasures is told in dual POV from Grant (remember Ruby's BFF?) and Tara (oh remember her from previous BFC books?).
There's so much in this book to talk about. The contrast that is Grant - he's a rough and tough rugby player AND he's a talented, delicate cello player. The life that Tara is living - in her job, her love life, her love of dance.

If you haven't read Nikki Sloane before, please start at book 1 - many of the characters we've met in previous books show up. It would make more sense to start at book 1 and work your way to book 6.
There's a lot of good meat in this story beyond the incredible scenes. You know which ones I mean. The ones that melt your kindles. H O T!

Nikki Sloane does an amazing job at giving these characters more to them than just hot, alpha dude wants hot girl. They have real struggles, with work and family. There's a relationship dynamic that is insanely hot but also very interesting.
The chemistry she creates between Grant and Tara (and the others - no spoilers here!) is off the charts. I imagine it's not easy to create this where the readers FEEL it all. She also has scenes where she's working with multiple *WINK* characters and to be able to give them all their voice is amazing.
AND the best thing about this book? My favorite guy EVER is in it. Joseph, please be in every single Nikki Sloane book.

Congrats to Nikki Sloane for another hit in the BFC series!

When I heard that Sloane was writing another Blindfold Club book I had to have it! But have to admit that I was also disappointed to hear that it will be the last, because I absolutely love this series. Not only is the series sinfully hot, it is so well written, the characters seem so real.

Tara has been in every Blindfold Club in the background from the beginning and is finally getting her story told. But there is so much more to her than what goes on at the Blindfold Club and through her story we get to see quite a few of the other characters we know and love.

Grant is such a complex character, journalism, plays rugby, plays the cello and has an accent. He's keen to find the next big story, after hearing whispers about the Blindfold Club he sets a plan in motion. But he unknowingly has a link, an in, into the Blindfold Club right under his nose.

Both are hiding secrets only he actually knows hers, question is, can and will she forgive his betrayal.

I would definitely recommend this book and all the others in this series.

Tara's been around for most of this series, so I found it interesting that this book centered around her. Grant we met in the last book, I liked him, but with his curosity I didn't like how things could turn and blow up things for all the characters we've come to love.

I thought it interesting that Tara was pretty honest about her relationship with Silas and Regan to Grant and so early. It was fun to see them work around the rules and still be intimate. I loved how Tara and Grant colaborated for the dance show Tara was trying to get on. It allowed Tara to focus on something other than the mess that was happening at the club.

When everything blew up at the end, things went about how I thought it would. I honestly didn't expect Grant to go to Joseph for help, but it was a great idea as was how things were executed in the aftermath.

What a wonderful treat! This series just keeps getting better...and hotter! With Silas and Reagan as her Doms, Tara was the low-key submissive. Happy with her arrangement w/the totally in love couple, she kinda wants what they have. But, Tara’s busy w/her life, and isn’t necessarily looking—which was perfect timing for Grant.

Their chemistry is off the charts, but like w/the couples in this series, they have something deeper. But with both having their own baggage, they struggle w/their feelings and actions toward one another.

I thoroughly enjoyed this, and the catchup with a few from previous books was awesome. This was a heartfelt, soul-searching, filthy-but-so-sweet tale of confidence, fear, determination, admiration, and love.

Five stars, but I wish more were allowed.

Is sex just for the sake of sex and enjoyment enough, or can love add a little bit more to your life? Three Guilty Pleasures tells the sweet and kinky story of Tara and Grant, who are trying to find out what works for them. This book totally lives up to my expectations I have for the Blindfold Club books, I love it.
“He didn’t seem to be breathing, which was interesting. I wasn’t breathing either—I’d forgotten how. The sight of him was that distracting. It was chaos around us, but I ignored it.”

Tara is a happy girl; she loves her demanding job as a ballet dancer, and her other job at the Blindfold Club. Her arrangement with her couple is working out like she hoped it would, but lately she’s thinking about more. To have more with a person then only sex, to have that special connection that involves love and all. Enter Grant; big hunk of a man, who’s very interested in Tara, and Tara in him. Grant is a newbie to the kink scene, but he and Tara have great chemistry.
“Tara. She drew me in. Her narrow waist, her long legs, her flat stomach, and the way she moved . . . I was in awe.”

I love Tara, she’s (sexual) confident and knows what she wants. She doesn’t care about what other people think about her life, and fully embraces her submissive side. Seeing her fall for Grant who doesn’t ‘belong’ to her scene is cute to see. She wants to tell him about all aspects of her life, but at the same time she’s afraid it will scare him off. Luckily for Tara, Grant is very openminded and not afraid to try something totally new. I love them for each other.

Finally, a new ‘Blindfold Club’ story by Nikki Sloane! It has been a while since Mrs. Sloane wrote about the club, and Three Guilty Pleasures certainly doesn’t disappoint. Like the other books in the series, Tara and Grant’s story is sweet with a kinky side. (If you don’t want your romantic couple to engage in ménage, sharing or other group activities, these are not the books for you). The story is told in dual point of view, so you know what Tara and Grant are thinking and why they react a certain way. Since this is an ongoing series, couples from the previous books made an appearance as well, and boy, it was… interesting…
“I was Grant’s. Every piece of me, even the ones I’d tried to hide. He wanted them all, and I would give them, because he was mine.”

A SEXY AS F*CK, ENDEARING, HEARTFELT ROMANCE.

Nikki does it again with another hot as hell, steamy romance from her Blindfold Club Series. This is one of my all time favorite series and I just absolutely loved this addition!

Grant is Rubys best friend from book 5.
He is a masculine, muscled, handsome rugby player AND cellist. Tara has been a sexy vixen in this series since the beginning. She is a beautifully voluptuous, up and coming ballet dancer, when not working at the club. She literally falls into Grants lap upon their “first” meeting.

Grant and Tara’s chemistry is off the charts and their sex scenes are some of the most creative and unique. (They have rules to follow after all)
I love the way Nikki writes her sex scenes. She is able to describe every single aspect of the situation and what each character is thinking, not just feeling. That’s what I love the most about her writing, the mental part of her characters exploration of sex. It makes the sex so much more erotic and passionate. You can feel the characters connection and bond growing right along with their desire for each other.
And these two characters give us just that.

Anyhoo, I loved that this book was a little different with the dancing and music aspect. Nikki did a great job writing these subjects, so much so that I felt like I was there watching their performances.
Basically this book is one of my favorites of this series. A MUST READ.

P.S. Oh yeah. How can I forget, we get to see feisty Regan and Silas as well as sexy ass Joseph in this book again; and he is just as commanding and sexy as ever. I loved his appearance and hope to see more of him and more Blindfold Club books soon, pretty please!!!

Nikki Sloane hits another home run with Three Guilty Pleasures. Grant and Tara take center stage in this book and steal the show!!

Tara has been a regular in The Blindfold Club Series. Tara meets Grant and it sure makes a “hit” literally. They share their secrets and desires with each other. They still have their own secrets (which turn out to be a total game changer for Tara!) the “rules” put in place make things very interesting between the two. They learn to bend the rules the best they can without breaking them. The secrets come out and there has to be an “intervention” (AKA steamy ménage). Tara and Grant connect on so many levels and it makes them a very down to earth couple. You can relate to them. You can feel the adoration and love between them in everything they do.

Every part of me as a woman loves this series. It has real aspects and all the steamy aspects I love in romance novels. I feel like I connect with them in every aspect and always have this hangover when I read them. The plot is always a real life situation you can relate to.

This book takes you out of your comfort zone and lets you explore some of your deepest, darkest fantasies. You will crave reading the next page over anything else at the moment.

The Blindfold Series is hands down one of the hottest series I’ve ever read. This is a plot and twists and turns in every book. They can be read as a stand-alone, but this books includes characters from the past books. After reading this book, you will want to start back with the first one “Three Simple Rules”. Mark my words!

I have read and absolutely loved each of Nikki’s books this one is no exception.

The idea of her with a woman was exciting, so that wasn’t a problem. And the idea of watching her with another man was hot, but could I actually handle it? I was so damn curious.

The Blindfold Club series is wildly addictive and so hot you actually overheat while reading it. I’ve been waiting for Tara’s story because I knew it would be incredible and I was so NOT disappointed.
Tara seemed to have been looking for something anything to make her complete. She was the outcast of her family never really fitting in and always searching for what made her complete.

I just needed one person to see me. Really see me. And now that I’ve found that person, I’m good. I don’t need anything else.”

Then along comes Grant, who himself is the black sheep of the family, and Tara falls into his lap as if that is where she’s meant to be.

“Why?” “Because I love you.” I was done. Obliterated by his admission, and then by his kiss. He hadn’t asked for permission, but I was glad. It would have slowed down the time it took before our lips met, and I needed the connection to him right that instant.

They both have secrets and are trying to see how they can tell one another the full truth. The journey they take is beyond incredible and so realistic that you feel it in your toes.

Wow. I think I need a minute to come down off this one!! This got off to a bit of a slow start for me but I think it was because it was so long since I read the last book I had to reacquaint myself with the world a bit. I seriously fell in love with Grant. Strong, foreign accent, sexy as hell, and just a bit vulnerable. Tara is one of my favorite literary subs. Through her inner dialog you truly feel everything she feels, needs, wants and it makes me connect with her fiercely. The dynamic between Silas, Reagan, and Tara is so intriguing. Once you add Grant to the mix it gets very exciting. The last addition...I will not ruin the ending....and it becomes explosive! I kept trying to make myself read the last couple of chapters slower, but I just couldn't. I may go back and re-read them later.

I was excited to read another Blindfold Club Book. Especially with Tara. Tara has always been a side character since book 1 and I was so happy to see her get her own book. It did not disappoint.

Tara and Grant were perfectly written and you could physically feel the passion as it leaped off the pages. They both have secrets through the book and due to restraints put upon them can only demonstrate their passion in certain ways. Those ways are quite clever and will have you on fire.

I loved that both characters were creative and had genuine love and care for each other.

What I love about the Blindfold club is that you always get a check in with the other characters from previous books. And boy was there a check in. A very hot check in with Silas, Regan and Joseph all in the mix of something special.

I love this addition to the family and it fits in perfectly. Now I have a hankering to read the previous books and that’s what I’m off to do.

Damn, this book was sizzling... Tara and Grant are on fire. You get to see old characters again and meet new ones. I love how these love stories are so different from anything else I've read but still just about the two main characters. Whether they're sharing or Dom/sub, voyeur, mmf, ffm, etc, you still get the individual love story. I never know how I'm going to feel going into these books, but one thing stays the same, it's all hot... I loved how Tara was a dancer and Grant was a buff, athlete and musician. He knows something she doesn't, she thinks she knows stuff he doesn't. It's great how it plays out.

I am obsessed with Nikki Sloane and her Blindfold Club Series! Whoa these books are scorchers and I just enjoy how she keeps this series going and unique. If your looking for a book to start your 2019 reading off with a delectable, addictive, and steamy read go pick up this book THREE GUILTY PLEASURES now! Also if you have yet to read the other books in the series its okay to start here. Other characters are introduced, but no major spoilers are included.

I plan on going back to listen to these stories in audiobook so I can relive this series because it is just so good!

Guilty of not loving this book.

I have loved & enjoyed all the other Nikki Sloane books I have read (which is 7, including 3 Blindfold Club books). This book had some points that were not appealing to me, but I was invested enough in the story, the main characters & the author’s writing to push through and finish the book. The points I did not like are not mentioned in the blurb, but the main one was that Tara stayed in a submissive relationship with Silas & Regan (her Doms from another Blindfold Club book) while dating Grant & let them tell her how Grant could touch her. These points made me not as emotionally invested as I usually am. As I said, I did like both main characters, Tara and Grant, because they knew who they were & were not apologetic about it. I loved their second meeting (you will understand what I mean if you read the book), a meet-cute that leads to insta-lust (and I don’t mind insta-lust!). And, of course, I enjoyed the happy ending for the couple after the drama was settled. Even though some of this book wasn’t my cup of tea, I will still read Nikki Sloane books.
