About this ebook

Cain Bonham is as big and bad as they come. After serving in the Marines, he’s returned home to Wyoming and now works as head of security at the exclusive sex club, The Wicked Horse. His job is to protect not only the patrons, but to zealously guard the secret existence of the club itself.
Sloane Preston is all about discovering secrets. As an undercover reporter, she’s determined to reveal the truth behind the facade of The Wicked Horse and expose it for all the world to see. She just didn’t count on her pathway into the club coming at the hands of one gorgeously scarred and bad ass bouncer who manages to easily possess her body and soul.

While Cain’s not looking for anyone to catch his eye, Sloane did it all the same, and he’s not bemoaning the fact that she’s as wickedly kinky as he is. As both get caught up in the sinful fantasies that only The Wicked Horse can create, secrets and loyalties will be tested and hearts will risk being broken.

**Warning: this book has sex in it. Lots of sex. Dirty sex. The Wicked Horse Series is a bit different than what Sawyer Bennett normally writes. While you’ll still enjoy fabulous characters, a suspenseful story, some witty banter and an epic romance, there’s just… a lot of sex. You’ve been warned.

I just adore this series from Sawyer Bennett! This story is about Cain Bonham and Sloane Preston. Cain is the head of security at the The Wicked Horse and The Silo. He is totally an alpha male that has no desire to settle down. He enjoys doing whatever and whomever he wants! His typical hookup is one and done but he can't stop noticing the blonde woman who keeps showing up at The Wicked Horse. She intrigues him in a way that other women never have. Enter Sloane, the blonde woman trying for Cain's attention. What Cain doesn't know is that Sloane is there trying to find a lead for a story for the political newspaper she works about Governor Hayes and his daughter Callie. Cain and Sloane finally hook up but neither of them expected the connection to be so strong. It's like they found their soul mates. I really enjoyed how they each brought out the best in each other,. I knew when their feelings started getting stronger and real that things were going to explode when he found out the real reason she was in town. I just didn't expect Bridger would have such a big part in it and that I would end up loving his character even more! I really enjoyed all the sexy scenes! I loved what Cain set up for Sloane! OMG! Overall this book was a great addition to a fun series and I can't wait to read the next book. Although I'm a little disappointed that the next book is not Bridger's, Rand story seems like it will be interesting.

Ever since finishing Wicked Fall I’ve been wanting Cain’s story, okay really I wanted Bridger’s and who wouldn’t? But after that epilogue I was more than happy to hear that I’d be getting up close and personal with The Wicked Horse’s and The Silo’s sexy head of security, and holy hell did this one have me needing to take more than one cold shower and had me going through all the feels as Cain and Sloane’s story played out. I adored Sloane. Yes, she is in Wyoming for a story and isn’t entirely honest about it, but despite that aspect she actually has a lot of integrity and a good moral compass because while she is after a story, she wants hard facts not just hearsay and that I can get behind. She’s also sassy and witty and has a kindness to her that draws you in and makes you want to get to know her more. Cain is my kind of alpha male dominant, determined, sexy as hell and yet has a hidden gentlemanly side that makes you swoon even as you’re begging him for more. He tends to be more crude than smooth but that was something that I actually found refreshing because he completely owned it. He was who he was and you either accepted or not. But what I found most interesting about the man was that for the most part he had a very cut and dry view of the world and didn’t spend too much time dwelling on the things he couldn’t change. He simply went with his gut and that was that. In Wicked Fall my reaction to Woolf’s and Callie’s relationship had been rather tepid, but that is not the case with Cain and Sloane at all. The evolution of it was done beautifully and dear lord was the sexual chemistry between them explosive talk about doing erotic romance right! Despite the issue of Sloane’s true reason for being in Wyoming and Cain’s stance on relationships, they connected in every other way and watching as that connection grew without them even trying was a lot of fun, even when the road became extremely bumpy. The writing, as always, was engaging and well paced and I enjoyed the way she resolved the one lingering issue from the first book, and if you haven’t read Wicked Fall (Which you really should just because) you don’t need to worry about feeling lost because Ms. Bennett does a great job at reminding/bringing the reader up to date with all that happened and led us to this point. Then there are the supporting cast of characters. We get to catch up a bit with Callie and Woolf, and I can still say that I really like the both. Rand and Logan get a little love, okay a lot of love, and I can’t wait for Rand’s book. And then there is Bridger *swoon/happy sigh* I swear to God the wait for that man’s book is painful because he just jumps off the page and makes you want to know more about him. The Bottom Line: If you are a fan of erotic romance that isn’t only hot as hell, but has well developed characters and a storyline then this one needs to be put on your must read list! ~ ARC provided by Big Dog Books via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review ~

Astonishingly good! I picked WICKED LUST merely because I had loved “Friction” so much, and Sawyer Bennett’s writing, and WICKED LUST confirms every impression I got from only one book: Sawyer Bennett is a force of nature, and possibly the best writer around these days. She is a very sensitive writer who is able to make every character totally unique; I’m not sure if I would have picked up that book had it written by anyone else. I don’t know if I would like to live in the world of WICKED LUST, but I know I will read every book of this series, I need to know everything about every character. Do I like those characters? I adore them because they seem alive, they seem real, and they have compelling stories to tell. I don’t even feel they’re fictional and that there is a writer behind their existence: Ms. Bennett seems like a medium though which they come alive. Such outstanding writing is rare indeed! I am dying for Bridger’s story, I’m sure he will be the last, and again, he is a character I would possibly have disliked if written by any other author. Sawyer Bennett’s superlative writing skills, originality, honesty, and outstanding character development will keep me coming back! I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

She believes in the good of others, and that a bad day can be cured with a great work-out, cake, or even better, both.
