Dirty Deeds (Irresistible) Kindle Edition
Now, we’re f**kin’ roommates for the summer.
ALY
It’s been twelve years since I’ve seen him, but loathing Emmett Hoult still runs in my blood. Thanks to the hell he wreaked on my teenaged life, I’ve avoided the prick like the plague. But desperate times call for desperate measures, and after a fire destroys my apartment during the most important week of my life, I’m suddenly as desperate as they come.
Hence the roommate situation.
It’s his summer home. His family said he wouldn’t be around. They said I’d never run into him.
But oh, did I run into Emmett Hoult.
And in the worst way possible.
EMMETT
I didn't expect to see her ever again, let alone the way that I did.
But now that she's back in my life, I'm not screwing things up. She still hates me -- I know that -- but it won't stop me from chasing the only two goals I've made for this summer.
Making things right.
And making her mine.

About the Author
Stella Rhys is an author of contemporary romance and cant help but write it hot, steamy and borderline filthy (just kidding, its flat-out filthy). Writing aside, she lives for coffee, the Yankees and cooking recipes way out of her league. She was born and raised in New York and now lives there with her husband and charmingly entitled fur baby.

So many times it’s the girl just pining for some player but this was a very welcome change.
I was smiling all way through. I started it at like 10pm and didn’t put it down til it was nearing 6am!
My favourite from Stella Rhys so far after reading Hothead and Ex Games.
Emmett gives off the impression that he is a hard nosed playboy but it’s not a life style he is happy about. There is a girl that he holds dear to his heart but she won’t have a bar of him. Aly won’t forgive him for all the dirty tricks he played on her in high school. She has spent her life trying to make her father proud, even buying the family business and making it thrive again. When these two meet up after 12 years, it is anything but platonic.
When I started reading, it had a sense of familiarity about this story. Whether it was due to it being a friends to lovers romance that I enjoy or the dual POV, it just felt right diving in and falling for both Aly and Emmett. He was a dependable character full of family loyalty. I loved his cheeky playful side when interacting with Aly. She had me giggling with her stumbling reactions when confronted with Emmett head on! She may have been stubborn, but she too was loyal to her family but more to her friends that had become her family. The secrets that they are keeping might come back to haunt them, but their similar personalities will help them to understand each other’s decisions to reach their HEA.
I am grateful for the early copy provided by the author for an honest review.
*Reviewed by Monique for JoandIsaLoveBooksBlog.
These two have known each other since birth and went to the same schools right up until junior year in high school. Aly’s view of how those years went down are the complete opposite of how Emmett sees them.
In her eyes, she was emotionally tortured and bullied by him, but in Emmett’s version of events he only teased her, and at weekends, they were best of friends.
Aly’s problems, growing up and as an adult stemmed from more than one outlet. It was heartbreaking to see her treated so callously by the one person she should have had unconditional love from.
Aly hasn’t seen Emmett for 12 years, she missed a lot of his life, not all of it good or nice when she cut him out of her life after a major incident in junior year. One she swore never to forgive him for.
When a fire destroys her apartment and she need somewhere to live for the summer, she is offered Emmett’s summerhome in the Hampton’s where her new restaurant is located. She agrees when she hears Emmett is away for the whole summer. Or so everyone thinks.
Things get complicated when one night she goes home with a guy she met at a nightclub and they roll up to his home ... the home she’s staying in for the summer. Imagine her surprise to find out that the hot guy she thought she was hooking up with was Emmett.
I loved the interaction between this couple. There are miscommunications, some super hot steamy scenes and of course one last secret that threatens to come between them.
I loved the secondary characters of Drew (he’s Emmett’s mate and a pretty terrible wingman but he’s hilariously fun) and Aly’s bestie Evie who despite her own life going sideways always gives the best advice!
This is one book I couldn’t put down!
* I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book *
ALY feels Emmett has wronged her and she doesn’t want anything to do with him.
She lost her home in a fire and Emmett’s mother has said he is away and she can stay at his home till she can get on her feet.
She goes to a bar to dance and drink, Emmett doesn’t recognise her she doesn’t recognise him, they seem to pick each other up and on the way to her home she realises she didn’t tell him where she lived, plus she lied about her name.
They find them self’s in situation. She supposedly hates him... but in all reality hate and love are a thin line...
Now my honest opinion.. to much adult content. Then again the name of the book does say dirty.. fitting. Didn’t like it. Not my idea of a romance novel. All the sexual tension and finally the acts were to much.
Any book or novels I leave reviews on are not dependent on the book/novel review author’s opinion. No one influenced my voluntary review for any of the books or novels I read, they are my own opinions.

With the competition, there is also a falling out from some eluded event that we don’t know about. Both Emmett and Aly go through hard times as young adolescents/adults and it only adds to the rift between them. All these years later they happen to meet up again not recognizing each other at first. Aly needs a place to stay, and Emmett agrees to be platonic friends just so he can spend more time with her. However, the more time they spend together the more the tension builds. How long can these two last before things explode between them? When the lines get blurred, will they be able to work through the past and their own issues?
I can’t get over how much I loved this. I have a huge book hangover after this one, and it makes other books pale in comparison. If for whatever reason you don’t want to read the entire series (which is just a dumb thing to even say) pick this one to read no matter what! I do love the side characters that pop up, and can’t really can’t wait to continue the series (like a normal person) to see what else is in store!

Este fue un libro inesperado. No sabía que iba a estar tan divertido y con una historia que estaba profunda e interesante.
Alto contenido hot, pero con personajes interesantes.
Aly y Emmet, me encantaron.

What an unexpected book! It appeared in my “suggested books” area and because of the cover, I decided it was interesting 😬
Highly hot content, but with substance and interesting background for the characters, which I really like.
Aly & Emmet, loved them!

I loved Emmett and Aly. I loved their past. I loved their connection. I loved that they were basically frenemies. They battled it out at school, but on the weekends, under forced family functions, they were best friends. Emmett was definitely a little jerk to Aly when they were kids…the pranks, the way he used to try and get under her skin…I don’t blame her for being so irritated with him. But at the same time, I loved how everything unfolded and you got to see exactly how much Emmett loved Aly. How all he wanted was for her to be happy. And Aly had a lot working against her. Her father was the worst. I’m literally at a loss for the words to adequately express my disgust for that man.
I highlighted so many passages in my kindle, that it’s not funny. Stella Rhys just knows how to give the feels. I loved seeing Emmett fight for Aly. I was going to say fall for her, but the reality is, he’s always been in love with her. Yes, he was finally getting to act on it, but he was always in love with her. I’ll admit, I expected the thing that tore them apart in high school to be bigger. I mean, yes, it was a pretty significant event, but at the same time, I was surprised that it wasn’t more. But I loved how Emmett reacted when he found her. I did feel bad for Aly though, because the fallout from the event was more isolation from family and friends, taking away what little she had. And my heart broke for Aly and Emmett when Aly realized everything Emmett went through after she left. He needed his best friend, and she wasn’t there because she was angry at him.
This book will definitely stand as one of my favorites and I’ll definitely be reading it again!

This is a story of how fate brought them back to each other after so many years apart. At first you think Emmett is just a player who spends his life partying. This book makes you fall in love with him. He’s smart, funny, caring and ever so loyal. If that wasn’t enough he’s also gorgeous. Aly is fiercely independent and very driven. Really enjoyed getting to know them both. Such a lovely story.

Right off the bat, there's some great steam, and later on, there's more.
There are a few interesting plot points eventually revealed.
Overall, good read. Was hard to put down.
